Editor John A. Moseley critically injured.
Thursday, 12 June 2008

Herald Managing Editor John A. Moseley, critically injured in a traffic accident, has been transferred to an acute care facility in Dallas, family members said.

Moseley is at Texas Specialty Hospital, 7955 Harry Hines Blvd., in Dallas where he continues to recuperate.

UPDATE: John continues to improve each day. He is relearning to talk and recognizes friends and family. According to his family, John's recuperation process is still expected to be lengthy. As a positive sign, the family says John is complaining that "the bed is terrible and he needs to get his butt back to work."

An account to help defray the family's medical costs has been established at First Bank of West Texas. Herald Publisher Ron Midkiff said donations to the John Moseley Benefit Account can be made at any FBWT branch in this area.
