Are you ready to come together this weekend and listen to a little Beatles music?
The Big Spring Symphony Orchestra is presenting its annual Spring Concert Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Big Spring Municipal Auditorium, 310 E. Third St.; and this year's performance will feature "The Music of the Beatles."
"We're having our spring pops concert, and we're featuring a rock band from Canada," said BSSO Music Director and Conductor Dr. Keith Graumann. "It's called 'Jeans 'n Classics' and the repertory is the Beatles 'Abbey Road' album. This is a huge song list, so it sounds like a long concert. The album went to number one in both the UK and the US, and it ended up being one of the greatest albums of all time, of any band; and right now it is the Beatles greatest selling album of all time."
