Early voting for municipal/college elections begins

Voters will head to the polls Monday as early voting in municipal and college trustees races begins. Voters in the city of Coahoma will also decide on beer and wine sales for off-premise consumption in the city.
Early voting for municipal, Howard College board elections begins April 25 and runs through May 3 at the Howard County Election Administration Office located on the first floor of the County Courthouse building. Voting hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday with the exception of April 28 and May 3 when voting hours are extended from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Election Day is May 7.
According to the state of Texas election laws, voters must show a valid photo identification in order to participate.
