Jessie (Tripp) Berry, 23, of Big Spring, died Friday, July 13, 2012 in Big Spring. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 16, 2012, at Spring Creek Fellowship with Derrick Looney officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Olive Memorial Park.

He was born Jan. 28, 1989 in Stanton, Texas, to Carla and Melvin Berry. He was been a lifetime resident of Big Spring and graduated from Big Spring High School in 2007. He had worked at Dominoes and in the oilfield.

He is survived by his parents, Carla and Melvin Berry of Big Spring; one sister; Janiene Berry of Abilene; significant other, Alyssa Griffis and their son Paxton Berry, both of Big Spring; a son, Patrick Berry of Dallas; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Cora Berry and Halbert and Blanch Rister.
