Nationals update: Lady Hawks fall to Butler 15-3, Defeat Georgia 16-8

Day two of the NJCAA national softball tournament had its highs and lows for the Lady Hawks as they began the day with a 15-3 loss against No. 1 seed Butler Community College, but managed to turn things around with an 16-8 victory over No. 15 seed Georgia Military Institute.
Howard College will resume tournament play today with a game against No. 6 seed Northeastern Oklahoma A&M at 2:00 p.m. If they win that game, they will play either No. 11 seed Lake Land or No. 2 seed Salt Lake at 4:30 p.m. If they win that game, they will play again at 9:30 p.m.
