Soar to the Silver Wings Ball

Staff Writer

It's time to soar into a night of music, cocktails, and fun, at the Hangar 25 Air Museum's annual Silver Wings Ball this Jan. 27, 2018, at the Settles Hotel. This annual donation ball is held once a year in order to raise money for the Hangar 25 Air Museum. In the mid 1990s, Hangar 25 had laid dormant for years slowly deteriorating, until a small group of citizens took action to restore and preserve the facility, and convert it to a museum reflecting the heritage of the men and women who served our country
“Since the museum is a non profit organization, we use this ball as an opportunity to raise funds to support the museum for a whole year,” said Bond Ryan, Silver Wings Ball Committee Chairman. “But this year is a special year for the Hangar, this will be the '20th Annual Silver Wings Ball.”
