Richard Gilmore, 77, of Coahoma died Sunday, June 16, 2013, at Parkview Nursing Center. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Midway Baptist Church with burial at Coahoma Cemetery.
He was born Dec. 9, 1935, in Howard County to Flossie and Lawrence Gilmore. He was a lifetime resident of Howard County and married Jane Graham on Oct. 30, 1955, in Coahoma. He worked for the City of Coahoma, Howard County and later as a truck driver and service technician in the oil field.

Charles Floyd Archer, 70, of Big Spring died Monday, June 17, 2013, at his residence after a lengthy illness. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Memorial Park with military honors.
He was born July 7, 1942, to Thelma and Floyd Archer in Dallas. He excelled at baseball and attended college on a baseball scholarship. He served in the United States military and was stationed in Germany as a Morse code interpreter. He worked in retail sales and management.

Dena Rae Perez-Ledbetter, 39, of Greenwood died Saturday, June 15, 2013, in an Odessa hospital. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2013, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.
She was born Sept. 22, 1973, in Midland, Texas, and married Ron Ledbetter on April 25, 1992, in Big Spring, Texas.

Gerald Don Cummings died at the Sierra Medical Center in El Paso on Tuesday, June 11, 2013. Gerald was born Dec. 12, 1943, in Brady, Texas, to Jesse and Irene Cummings. He was the oldest of five children, having two brothers and two sisters.

Richard Corser, 33, of Midland died Saturday, June 15, 2013, at his residence. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Big Spring. No other services are planned.
Richard was born May 10, 1980, in Midland and was a roughneck in the oilfield.
Survivors include his parents, Donna and Frank Coates of Big Spring; one brother, David William Corser of Austin; and one sister, Sherri McConney and husband Sean of Baltimore, Md.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mark Corser.

Mildred Franklin, 86, of Big Spring, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and a friend to many, died peacefully June 15, 2013, at her residence at the Marcy House. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Don Brodie officiating. Interment will follow at 3 p.m. at the Resthaven Memorial Park in Lubbock, Texas.
