The Northside Movement and the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) will be hosting their “Back 2 School Block Party” at Ryan Hall on August 12, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This event is a great way to get students of all ages ready for the upcoming school year.
“We’ve partnered up with a few hair salons who will be at the event giving free haircuts. The Lions Club is bringing school supplies and doing the eye exams, along with a few other sponsors that are helping us out and helping the children out,” event organizer, PJ Dominguez said.
