Whether you were searching for employees or searching for a job, the Howard County Fair Barn, for the first Best Texas Jobs Career and Job Fair was the place to be Tuesday. More than 250 people attended the event, sponsored by Kbest Media and Targa, and explored job opportunities in Howard County.
“There are many job fairs in the Midland/Odessa area, but we have so many opportunities right here in Big Spring as well as our surrounding areas, we thought it would be great if some of those out-of-town folks came here, and they did,” Malinda Flenniken, Kbest Media Managing Partner, said.
Attendees came from Big Spring, Lamesa, Stanton, San Angelo, Midland/Odessa and other surrounding communities. There were a variety of businesses represented, at the fair, including administrative, oilfield, medical, financial and more, according to Flenniken.
