TEA ratings released — Big Spring, Caohoma, Forsan schools "met standards"

All Howard County public schools “met standards” according to official ratings released by the Texas Education Agency Monday and Big Spring ISD, which struggled with academic performance for a number of years, met standards for the second straight year. TEA released ratings today.

“We are encouraged by the success we're having at the elementary schools and pleased that we have maintained our 'met standard' district rating,” said Big Spring ISD Superintendent Chris Wigington. “We are addressing strategies on the campuses that are still in need of attention.”
